What is Spooky One Acts?
The Spooky One Act play festival is a collection of plays written by Western New York Playwrights! Each play has a spooky theme to it and they can range from gut-wrenchingly hilarious, to absolutely horrifying. Green Buffalo Productions has been producing spooky plays since it's inception in 2018 and this festival is the show we as a company (and the WNY audience) looks forward to most every year!
During the pandemic of 2020 producers Madison, Ellen, Zack, and Leyla filmed six play adaptions for the Halloween season. We snatched up the hashtag #spookylives (thanks Juli Grygier for that suggestion!) to show our dedication to our craft and the WNY theatre community.
