Kayla is back to talk more about Don Quixote- we couldn’t get enough the first time around!
KAYLA VICTORIA REUMANN s a Buffalo actress who recently graduated from Niagara University with a B.F.A. degree in Theatre Performance and Spanish. She currently works locally as a Spanish teacher. Kayla has previously read for a few plays during quarantine with Green Buffalo and is very excited to be working with GBP in the future. Some of her favorite past work includes directing Sylvia by A.R. Gurney and Green Dating by Chantal Bilodeau (NU Theater) as well as playing Holly Seabe in Anton in Show Business (NU Theater). Kayla is a director for GBP’s upcoming Spooky One Act Festival this October! Ellen and Zack bring Mariangela on the podcast to try to make sense of various Pygmalion adaptations. MARIANGELA MERCURIO is an Actor and Director from Buffalo, NY. She received her BFA in Theatre Performance and Marketing Management from Niagara University in 2019. She has participated in a number of shows before the pandemic, including Tony and Tina’s Wedding as Marina (Actors’ Anonymous), As You Like It as Amiens/Audrey (Live Literature Theatre Co.), Pygmalion as Mrs. Eynsford-Hill (Niagara University Theatre) and a featured dancer in shows including 9 to 5: The Musical (NU Theatre), She Loves Me (NU Theatre), and All Shook Up (Lockport Palace Theatre). She has dance training from a young age and has experience with dialects, Physical Theatre, Musical Theatre, and Directing. She was last seen in a reading of The Importance of Being Earnest as Cecily (CoDash Productions), and recently directed How to Hunt a Wampsnackle as a guest director with Window Theatre. Upcoming she will be directing Victoria and All Lives Lead to Death as part of Green Buffalo Productions Spooky One Act Plays.
